Chocolate Raspberry Martini
This delicious chocolate raspberry martini is one of my favorite dessert martinis. After all, chocolate raspberry anything is my favorite combination. I concocted this recipe one night. During the lock down we experienced due to Covid-19, I experimented with different martini recipes each night. If you remember the anxiety, stress, and uncertainty at that time, you understand why I craved a martini each night!
This night in particular, I forfeited dessert. Well, technically, I forfeited cookies, cake, chips – those kinds of dessert. The dessert that I did want was a creamy, chocolate-y martini. Since I had already made chocolate banana martinis and chocolate amaretto martinis previously, I really wanted to try something along those lines, yet different. Additionally, because the other martinis were delicious, I didn’t know how to top them. Yet, I was up for the challenge!
While looking through my makeshift liquor cabinet (just a cabinet in my kitchen!) I found a bottle of Chambord. Yum! After all, everything is better with Chambord. Chambord is a raspberry liqueur. And, it tastes deliciously sweet. If you like the taste of raspberry, you will love Chambord. And if you like the flavor of chocolate raspberry, you will LOVE this Chocolate Raspberry Martini.
How To Make A Chocolate Covered Raspberry Martini
Hmm, what would make a tasty chocolate raspberry martini? Well, I knew it needed to start with vodka. More specifically, should it consist of regular vodka or flavored vodka? And if flavored, which one? I could choose from regular, vanilla, or whipped cream vodka. I went with vanilla vodka since it would sweeten the taste.
Next, it needs chocolate. Easy! Godiva Chocolate Liqueur. Done!
If it’s going to have raspberry flavor, it needs Chambord. Okay, now we are getting there…
Should anything else go into this recipe? I could add a creamy substance to it and use Irish Cream, specifically Bailey’s Irish Cream. Yes, that was definitely a must-have. Thus, Bailey’s was added!

Tastes Like Dessert
As I poured the creamy martini into my glass, I was a little nervous. What if this didn’t taste good? I feared that if it didn’t taste good, I would have wasted all those tasty alcohols! The horror!
One sip and my fears evaporated. My oh my. This chocolate raspberry martini was SO GOOD. Possibly, TOO good. It was a really easy martini to make and it tasted delicious. Would I be able to control myself from making this on a regular basis? Only time would tell…
The only downfall, if any, is that a chocolate raspberry martini does require a few different ingredients. However, the ingredients for this yummy martini can be considered “alcohol staples” for delicious cocktails! Therefore, my suggestion is to keep your liquor cabinet stocked with these staples and enjoy a tasty, adult drink. Cheers!!
